As of June 3, 2009, "the FDA has refused shipments of 17 cases of e-cigarettes" according to a
recent InjuryBoard.com article.
This hardly seems as disastrous as some have been making it seem and only works out to a seizure rate of about 4 cases per month. Considering the hundreds of cases of eCigs imported just by Smoking Everywhere, the chances of a shipment not making it through customs has to be to 1 in 100 or more
