I smoked for 41 years....sometimes as much as 3 packs a day. I started using e-cigs 3 months ago and haven't lit a "real" cig since that time. I originally got the e-cig to help me cut down on smoking and as a way to "thumb my nose" at no-smoking signs. I never imagined that it would take away all desire for smoking. Now I want to spread the word that there's a better alternative to smoking!

I know this post is old but I too am trying to stop smoking after 50 years of the nasty habit. I have had e cigs for 10 days but have been still smoking some analogs. I was smoking 5 or 6 of them a day but yesterday I only had 2. I am getting this headache on a daily basis in the same spot every day and I hope its from withdrawing from the analogs.

I guarantee you'll feel lots better once you're off those nasty cigs! I'm now at almost the 8 month point and still have no desire to EVER light up another cigarette!
